Hi Sam, I was hoping to use this with your font Have Heart, but it doesn’t seem to work for the alternate capital A. Any advice?

Hi Rachel! I have a font called ‘Have Heart Alt’ which has replaced the regular characters with the alts, including the uppercase A, which you can install and use in Canva. I’ll e-mail that over to you now 🙂

    Hi Sam,

We’re currently using your font “WICKED HEART,” but unfortunately, the ligatures don’t seem to work in Canva. Do you have any pro tips or suggestions to resolve this?

    Thanks in advance!

        Hey Sam,

I reached out to the client regarding the invoice since they purchased the font. As soon as I receive it, I’ll get back to you.

Do you think the issue might be related to the .otf and .ttf formats?

        Best,
        Andi

No problem! Canva doesn’t provide any access of font ligatures so the font needs to be specially set up to allow a workaround. The Wicked Hearts font isn’t PUA encoded (yet). I just need to update that and send over a new version, and you can then use the copy and paste method mentioned in the video to get the ligatures into Canva.
