Earn Money by Sharing My Fonts!
Friends! A few months back I finally launched something I’ve been wanting to do for years, and that is my very own Affiliate Program. For those of you unfamiliar with how these work, essentially this allows anyone (ideally with ties to the font or graphic design industry) to share my fonts, and earn themselves a percentage of any sales which happen as a result of that share. That means I get help by the increased exposure, and you can get an additional passive income stream – win win!
How Exactly Does it Work?
The first step is simply signing up via the registration form – I only need some basic information and it’ll probably take around 30 seconds!
Once you’ve signed up and been approved, you will have full access to the Affiliate Area where you can generate your own unique URLs to share with your audience. Any sales which arrive through these URLs will result in 20% commission earnings for your affiliate account. Your total earnings at the end of each month will be sent through PayPal via the payment e-mail address supplied when you registered.
When a customer clicks your affiliate link, they have up to 60 days to make a purchase for it to count toward your commissions (60 day cookie window).
From your Affiliate area, you can also find detailed statistics and graphics of your links, referrals & earnings, to see what’s working and what’s not.

Who should Join & Ways of Sharing
The Affiliate Program is open to everyone – but here are some scenarios where we see success with referral sales. Many of our affiliate partners are freelance graphic designers who use Set Sail Studios fonts in their client projects. As fonts are licensed by the number of seats (users), those clients often need to purchase their own license to use the font for their brands. This is where having your own affiliate link can boost your income on your branding project. You may also sell themes or templates which require your customers to purchase a font before they can use it as editable text.
We also see a lot of success with bloggers or content creators. For example, a ‘top 10 handwriting font’ blog post could contain some information and images alongside affiliate links to buy the fonts. Inspiration sites like Pinterest are also a great place to share some of the promotional images for each font – for example a ‘wedding font inspiration’ board could share a number of elegant brush fonts with your own affiliate link.
We also have a number of pre-made creatives which are permanent banners you can post on your own website, blog, or social media post. This is not a requirement of being an affiliate but simply a way to help you get started.
